Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position with a duration of 18 weeks.

Schedule

Night shift: 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, focusing on patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced care. The position will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary interventions.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care procedures.
Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
BLS and ACLS certifications must be active and in hand upon submission.
One professional reference from a managerial role in the specialty within the past 12 months is required.
