Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift role requiring ACLS certification and prior telemetry experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit (3 East) within a South Tower hospital setting
• 36-bed unit with mixed RN/LPN staffing and 6:1 patient ratios
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Floating required to all Med Surg Tele floors
• Every other weekend or two full weekends per month required
• Uses EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry equipment
• Meditech EMR used
• Unit performs heart catheterization procedures

Requirements

• Active RN license (LA state or compact) required
• ACLS certification required prior to consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg Tele experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
