RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Winston-Salem, NC

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Tele unit in a dynamic healthcare setting. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry, providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a solid background in telemetry and patient management.

  • Start Date: Not provided
  • Facility Type: Academic Medical Center
  • Work Modality: On-site
  • Shift Details: 3x12 Nights
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
  • Patient Ratios: RN: 5-6:1, CNA: 8:1
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Floating: Yes, to other MedSurg units

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care
  • Manage chest tubes, traches, PIV starts, and PCA pumps
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare teamwork
  • Maintain strong written and oral communication
  • Handle gtts management including Amiodarone, Fentanyl PCA, and others

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Ability to read telemetry strips
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with chest tubes, traches, PIV starts, and PCA pumps
