Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift contract requiring at least one year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license required, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with up to two attempts allowed to pass
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff at this health system must wait 1 year from their end date before returning
