Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Complete required ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation with an acceptable passing score
• Maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications and adhere to all facility compliance requirements throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
• Active AHA BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references are not accepted)
• No open background or license hits — facility does not accept any open cases or license violations
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location (combined experience across locations is also considered)
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments and compliance requirements
