**Join Our Team as a Travel RN - Med Surg!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Weatherford, TX - **Unit:** 2 South (610) - **Classification:** RN – Med/Tele (ACLS REQUIRED) - **Shift Details:** - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Shift Schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Rotating Weekends - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week **Unit Highlights:** - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Floating Policy:** As needed - **Certifications Required:** BLS & ACLS **What We Are Looking For:** - **Must Have:** - Active TX RN License (Temp licenses not accepted) - Compact RN License (Active) - 2+ years of Med/Tele specialty experience - 2+ years of hospital experience - BLS REQUIRED - ACLS REQUIRED - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with Meditech **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - General Med Surg - Initiate IVs - NG placements - Foley catheterizations - Dressing changes - Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) **Patient Experience Required:** - Promote a safe and therapeutic environment - Acquire specialized knowledge and skills - Maintain competence in nursing practice - Supervise other staff as designated **Dress Code:** - **Scrubs:** Navy Blue with Med City Embroidery (Proof of Purchase REQUIRED) - **Nail Policy:** Clean and healthy, no artificial nails, gel, etc. - **Hair:** Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors.
