Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active NC or compact license.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit with a primarily Med/Surg patient population
• Cares for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, palliative/end-of-life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetic patients, and surgical/surgical observation patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating required across all facility campuses as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required, in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)
• Skills in respiratory care, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management, wound care, and renal/dialysis management preferred
• Current driver's license required to verify address
