Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Recent experience caring for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Current BLS certification required
• Recent Cerner charting experience
• 2+ completed travel nursing assignments required
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Care for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed
• Administer medications safely, including bedside scanning procedures
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and follow established clinical protocols
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a busy acute care hospital setting
