Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting
• At least 2 completed travel assignments
• Current BLS certification
• Recent experience with Cerner charting
• Experience caring for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Ability to adapt to a busy unit and float between Med/Surg and Telemetry as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate and direct nursing care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Monitor Med/Surg and telemetry patients closely and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications safely, including bedside scanning procedures
• Support positive patient outcomes through accurate documentation and timely communication
• Maintain flexibility to float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units based on unit needs
