Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• BLS certification required
• Recent Cerner experience required
• At least 2 completed travel nursing assignments required
• Experience with med-surg patients and remote telemetry monitoring
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt to changing unit needs
• Ability to work every other weekend, holidays, and float between med-surg and telemetry units as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications using bedside scanning and follow established safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Care for a diverse med-surg population including ortho, post-op, CHF, and respiratory patients
• Monitor patients on remote telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and support smooth unit workflow
• Adapt to schedule changes based on unit needs and provide dependable floating support between med-surg and telemetry
