Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Recent Med/Surg and telemetry experience preferred
• Recent Cerner charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• At least 2 completed travel nursing assignments required
• Strong clinical judgment and confidence working in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Perform patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Administer medications safely using bedside scanning protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Support care for a diverse patient population including ortho, post-op, CHF, and respiratory cases
• Adapt to unit needs and floating expectations between Med/Surg and Telemetry areas
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold established nursing standards
