Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of critical care/telemetry experience and OK or compact licensure.

Details

  • Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (17:45-06:15)
  • Patient ratio of 1:6
  • MedHost charting system experience preferred
  • Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities up to 75 miles
  • No block scheduling accommodations available

Requirements

  • Active OK or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG/Telemetry course completion
  • PALS preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
  • Current critical care and telemetry experience required
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
  • Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address within the last three months required
  • Two supervisory references required
  • Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to med/surg and telemetry patients
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Must reside greater than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
  • Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment, with no holiday or blackout date requests accepted
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year separation from this health system if previously employed there
  • No pending state licenses accepted
