Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Augusta, GA. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vital sign checks and blood glucose checks.
• Provide nursing care in a Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry and various medical surgical diagnoses.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 in a 38-bed unit with an average daily census of 33.
• Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for effective communication and patient management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Charge RN experience preferred.

Additional Information:

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• RTO: Maximum of 7 days
• Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified otherwise.
• Floating may be required within facility/scope of practice as needed.
• Call Requirements: None
• Holidays: Expected to work major holidays as outlined.
• Full compliance required to start on time; push back of 2 weeks for non-compliance due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Locals are accepted at the same rate. The number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) hours is determined by contract length.
