Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2406.40
Opportunity:
RN - MedSurg/Tele Float Pool
Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts available for both days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 48-hour weekly guarantee
• Every-other-weekend requirement (Saturday/Sunday for both day and night shifts)
• Holiday rotation shared with permanent staff
• Float pool position covering multiple units including 6N (36 beds), 7N (29 beds), 4N (36 beds), 5S (36 beds), 6S (36 beds), and Critical Care (20 beds)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 on most units for both days and nights, with occasional 1:7 toward end of shift
• Will be assigned to a parent unit and handle basic telemetry patients within scope of practice
• Must report to clinical coordinator's office prior to shift start for unit assignment
• Common patient diagnoses include CHF, cardiac cath, chest pain, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, orthopedic, and oncology
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips (Phillips monitors); most units have monitor techs
• Will not be required to titrate drips
• CPAP and BiPap present on units; managed by respiratory therapy
• CNAs available on all units
• Charge nurse available on every unit; day charge does not take patients, night charge does take patients
• Must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam upon starting
• 1-2 shifts of orientation with a preceptor provided
• Charting system: EPIC
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must provide a copy of unexpired driver's license with submission
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering a wide range of medical services across multiple inpatient units. The facility utilizes EPIC for electronic charting and supports a robust float pool model with dedicated clinical coordinators to manage staffing assignments. The organization maintains strong support structures including charge nurses on every unit, CNAs, monitor technicians, and respiratory therapy staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
