Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med-Surg/Stepdown Telemetry position requiring 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience.

Details

• Med-Surg unit setting within an acute care hospital
• Placement on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry unit based on traveler's skills and greatest need
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Works every other weekend and every other holiday
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Deliver patient care on a Med-Surg or Stepdown/Telemetry unit depending on facility need
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• Only one submission permitted per Ascension facility system wide
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with management at least 45 days before assignment end date
