Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Stepdown Intermediate Care unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care to stepdown/intermediate care patients
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Candidates should only submit to one Ascension position system wide
• Travelers should discuss extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, with mileage varying by state
