Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment on an Orthopedics unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Unit-Orthopedics setting
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30
• Works every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner OneChart EMR
• May be required to float to similar units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide full SSN and DOB, copy of driver's license, 2 separate references, skills checklist, and copies of certifications for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic medical/surgical unit
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
• Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
