- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
- Charting System: EPIC
- Float Requirement: May float to other Med/Surg units as needed
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of Med/Surg nursing, infection control, and isolation precautions
- Ability to care for patients with infectious disease, COVID-19, MRSA, C. diff, and other isolation needs
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and adapting to changing unit needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population
- Provide care for patients requiring isolation and infectious disease precautions
- Administer medications and IV therapies per plan of care and unit protocols
- Monitor patient status, document assessments, and update care plans in EPIC
- Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Support unit flow and flexibility by floating to other Med/Surg areas when needed
- Maintain professional communication, accountability, and a patient-first approach
