Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring KS or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certifications.

Details

• 25-bed Med Tele unit caring primarily for renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology and general med surg patients
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• Unit supported by unit secretaries, techs, and charge nurses
• Equipment used includes EKG, bladder scanner, sit to stand lift, Hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis
• Documentation completed in Meditech-EBCD
• 7A-7P shift schedule requiring 3 shifts per week and at least every 3rd weekend
• May float to like units including Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Obs, and Rehab

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
