Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in St. Louis, MO. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on patient care and recovery.

As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing elective spine surgery and managing some traumatic spine issues from the emergency department. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring patients and assisting with procedures involving cervical to sacrum and lumbar drains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Assist with mobility exercises three times a day.
• Manage pain effectively for patients post-surgery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• First-timers are welcome to apply.
• Weekend shifts required every other week.
• Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Pending licenses are accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility.
• RTO restrictions allow for 2 requests per contract.

Parking Information: There is a daily charge of $15.00 for parking. If you are working straight night shifts, there is no charge, and you may park in employee parking.
