Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location: Morgantown, WV 26505

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: Choice of 3x12 or 4x12 hours; weekdays and weekends
Patient Ratio: 1:5–7
Charting System: Cerner
Float Required: No
Call Requirement: No
Note: No guaranteed block schedule; maximum 2–3 call-offs per contract; WV or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted for submission); permanent address generally over 100 miles from facility
Position Overview: RN providing evidence-based care to adult medical-surgical patients in a 34-bed unit with a variety of acute and complex medical conditions. Teamwork, adaptability, and compassionate patient care are essential.
Requirements:
License: Active WV or Compact RN license; pending license accepted at submission
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience; travel experience not required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Other requirement: Med-Surg experience, IV therapy, blood product administration, peripheral/PICC line care, respiratory support, wound care, telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and rapid response experience. Minimum 2 manager/charge nurse references required.
Patient Population: Adults
Patient Diagnoses: Acute medical-surgical conditions, renal failure, CVA, post-MI, substance withdrawal, orthopedic conditions, and complex respiratory and gastrointestinal conditions
