Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical | Night Shift
Location: Moab, Utah
Tentative Start Date: November 1, 2026
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a night-shift assignment. This rural hospital offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population, from postpartum neonates to geriatric patients, in a dynamic medical-surgical environment.

The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care across medical, surgical, high-acuity, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and pediatric settings. Additional opportunities may include postpartum care, infusion therapy, wound care, and cross-training in the Emergency Department or PACU.

Requirements

Current, unencumbered Utah RN license or active compact-state RN license
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
1–2 years of Medical-Surgical experience preferred
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS and PALS certifications, or ability to obtain them within one year of hire
Willingness to obtain NRP certification and provide care appropriate to certification within one year of hire
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-safety skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain calm in stressful situations

Schedule: Night shifts, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, following a 7-on/7-off rotation.
