Join a dynamic team at a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Med/Surg unit. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team known for their exceptional patient care and teamwork. As a Med/Surg RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to post-operative and medical-surgical patients.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 48
• Patient Ratios: Aim for 1:6, typically 1:7
• Staffing: 9 nurses, 5 patient care technicians, and 1 unit secretary
• Type of Equipment: EKG, bladder scanner, ultra-light for IV insertion
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 3 shifts of 12 hours, every other weekend, overtime available
• Floating Policy: PRN

Required Skills:

• Great communication skills and teamwork
• Advanced skills in wound care, I/O catheters, and trach care
• Certifications: BLS required

Dress Code: Navy blue or white scrubs
