• Position: Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse
• Location: Fargo, North Dakota
• Type: Travel RN assignment
• Setting: Acute care, 32-bed medical-surgical unit
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shifts Per Week: Approximately 3 shifts per week
• Schedule: Rotating days and nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• Charting System: EPIC
• Orientation: Classroom training followed by unit-based onboarding
• Unit Size: 32 single-patient rooms

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Dakota or a compact state
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in a large hospital setting
• Experience working in a busy Level 1 trauma center
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to float to other med-surg units as needed
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to patient care
• Comfort working with adult medical-surgical patient populations

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit
• Perform head-to-toe and focused assessments
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on the plan of care
• Advocate for patients and respond to changing clinical needs
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EPIC
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
• Float to other med-surg units within the organization as needed
