Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent experience.

Details

  • Med/Surg General unit setting
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Night shift schedule, 18:45 to 07:15
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Floating up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (ME or compact) required
  • BLS/ACLS or other AHA certifications required; non-AHA equivalents accepted at submission but must be completed before start
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care on a general medical-surgical unit
  • RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) are considered local
  • Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
  • Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
  • Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
