Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring WA State or Compact RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Med/Surg unit (SOU) in a hospital setting
• Day/Evening shift, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week, 0700-1930
• Required to float as a sitter
• May float between Mares and Central Campuses in rotation
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Charge experience preferred

Additional Information

• Coordinate and provide high quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment per hospital and unit policies
• Adhere to Confluence Health policies, unit standards, and the Washington Nurse Practice Act
