Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg, Medical/Surgical, or similar acute care nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills, clinical assessment skills, and decisive judgment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-acuity environment
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Comfort caring for adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient updates effectively
• Use telemetry and standard acute care equipment in daily nursing practice
• Support a patient-centered care environment with professionalism and attention to detail
