Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN - Med/Surg for a Float Pool position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and 1+ years of specialty experience.

Details

  • Nursing Float Pool position within a hospital setting
  • May float to Medical Surgical, Surgical, Medical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, Cardiac, or Neuro Trauma Spine units
  • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (1900-0730)
  • Weekend shifts required
  • Flexibility to switch to day shifts may be requested
  • May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active RN license, CO or Compact, required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required, not expiring prior to start
  • ASN required, BSN preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in the specialty being applied for required
  • DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Previous Intermountain permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
