**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Nursing)!** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** MS Stroke Stepdown Patients - **Shift:** 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling not guaranteed) - **Floating Required:** Yes - **Scrub Color:** Navy Blue **Role Highlights:** - Work with a diverse patient demographic, primarily adults. - Engage with a variety of common diagnoses including: - Stroke - Altered mental status - Renal issues and dialysis - COPD and CHF - Isolation cases - General medical-surgical conditions - Pneumonia and pulmonary issues - Utilize specialty equipment such as: - IV pumps - N/G tubes - Feeding tubes **Requirements:** - Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with an ACTIVE NY License & ALL active RN Licenses verified through NURSYS report. - Up-to-date resume showcasing 2+ years of Medical/Surgical experience with stroke stepdown knowledge and documented travel experience. - Skills checklist that aligns with the specialty. - Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS must be obtained prior to start). - Driver's license with an address matching demographics. - RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission. - Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
