Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Dothan, AL, and be part of a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking skilled and compassionate nurses to support our Med Surg unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Surgical RN.
• Current certifications: BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred.
• Proficient in administering cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone.
• Must be able to work a 1:6-7 patient ratio.
• Travelers must adhere to the 90-mile radius rule; no locals accepted.
• Pending license applications are accepted.
• Previous permanent staff at the facility are ineligible for travel assignments for 10 years.

This position offers a block scheduling option, with shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. The unit primarily focuses on orthopedic patients but may also involve medical/surgical overflow, including telemetry patients requiring cardiac drips.
