This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 225-bed specialty care hospital featuring a Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine services, and more. The facility is located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula, making it a vibrant community with access to Northern Michigan University.

Unit Information:

• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric, ages 18 - 125
• Equipment: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience on a medical/surgical unit is preferred.

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue (Navy is also acceptable)
• Fingernails should be kept clean and not excessive in length, in compliance with the Hand Hygiene Policy.
• Tattoos that may be considered offensive must be covered; excessive jewelry is not permitted.
