Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Provide nursing care to medical surgical patients, including those with neurological and post-surgical needs
• Document and manage patient information using EPIC EMR
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Expected to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license (or compact license eligible)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience required
• Comfort working with neurological and surgical patient populations
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates in the Madison area may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Familiarity with neuro-surgical patient care within a medical surgical unit
