Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring active MA RN licensure and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit setting at North 3
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• May be asked to float outside the unit for extra support tasks such as vital signs, IV placement, and answering phones (not a full patient assignment)
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required, BSN preferred
• Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date, updated upon expiration
• Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required for nursing license
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Deliver patient care through the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practice standards and collaborate with other disciplines
• Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate compared to standard travel rate
