• Setting: Acute care Med/Surg unit

Job Requirements

• Active RN license or eligibility to obtain before the start date
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg, acute care, or medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification is a plus
• Experience with peritoneal dialysis preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to a varied Med/Surg patient population
• Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
• Support recovery for post-operative, neuro, orthopedic, and medical patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive outcomes
• Document care accurately and maintain strong clinical follow-through
• Help maintain a calm, efficient, and patient-centered unit environment
