Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring a KY or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling available
• On-call required once every pay period (2 weeks)
• Any charting system experience accepted, though Meditech experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active Kentucky RN license or Compact RN license required
• AHA-issued BLS certification required (AHA certifications only accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility as local travelers are not accepted
• RTO may be granted as long as the traveler can work their required three days per week
• Travel experience preferred
• Candidates with open or pending background or license issues will not be accepted
