Travel Med/Surg RN – 30-Bed Unit Shift: 12-hour shifts Hours: 36 hrs/week Ratio: 1:6–7 — must be comfortable with 1:7 Experience: Med/Surg RN experience Certifications: BLS & NIHSS required Patient Population: CHF, COPD, cellulitis, cholecystitis, appendicitis, pneumonia, urosepsis & AKI Drips: Heparin titration based on aPTT Telemetry: Remote monitor techs Respiratory: Intermittent BiPAP; no vents Support: PCTs + charge RN on the floor Call: None Weekends/Holidays: Scheduled as needed; typically about half of weekends Floating: Based on census; travelers may float first Scrubs: Navy Blue Local Rule: 50-mile radius; unexpired driver’s license required Compliance: Licensing hits must be disclosed at submission Interested?
