Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg/Tele RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring a GA or Compact RN license and 18 months of recent experience.

Details

  • Internal Float Pool position within a hospital setting handling ED border patients within their specialty
  • May float between two facilities as needed, primarily based at the main facility, staying within specialty
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
  • No on-call requirements
  • Assigned work location communicated in advance of each shift

Requirements

  • Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required

Additional Information

  • Care for ED border patients within specialty and float between facilities as needed based on staffing needs
  • Facility requires all time off requests to be submitted upfront at the start of assignment
  • RTO is strictly limited, especially around holidays, with a maximum of 5 days when not near a holiday and 3 days when RTO falls on or near a holiday
  • Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
  • Former employees of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
