Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Night Shift travel position requiring 18 months of experience and a GA or Compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Internal Float Pool position handling ED border patients within specialty
• Float coverage primarily needed at the main facility with additional coverage at a nearby sister facility as needed
• Staff will be notified of their unit assignment prior to each shift
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required

Additional Information

• Care for Med/Surg and ED border patients
• Floating required within specialty between facilities based on need
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former employees of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
