Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care
• Care for a diverse patient population including orthopedic, urology, general surgery, oncology, and medical patients
• Administer drips including Heparin, PCA, and epidural; chemotherapy administration for those with applicable certification
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Participate in holiday coverage, including working 2 of 3 designated winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Active NIHSS certification (may be obtained during onboarding)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg and/or Oncology experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on Driver's License address to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• High-acuity care experience
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome)
• Chemotherapy administration certification
