Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Combination unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 in a 12-bed unit setting
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EHR system
• Rotate weekend coverage on an every-other or as-needed basis
• May float to other Med/Surg units as operational needs require
• Adhere to all facility policies, dress code standards, and compliance requirements, including the Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• BLS certification required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification required prior to start
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Med/Surg RN experience
• Familiarity with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center or similarly accredited acute care environment
