Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Weirton, West Virginia.
Travel Med/Surg RN – 48-Bed Unit Contract: Travel RN opportunity Shift: 12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Hours: 36 hrs/week Experience: 1+ year Med/Surg RN First-time travelers: Welcome! Ratio: 1:5–7 Days | 1:6–8 Nights Certifications: BLS required License: Active RN license required Patient Population: Pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, falls & weakness Drips: Heparin, Bumex & Lasix; no cardiac drip titration Telemetry: Monitor techs handle telemetry; RN interpretation not required Respiratory: RT manages BiPAP, CPAP & high-flow O₂ Call: None Weekend: Every other weekend Floating: May float to Med/Surg, Med/Surg Tele or IMC Scheduling: No block/self-scheduling; travelers should remain flexible Scrubs: Navy blue Orientation: 1 day educator/computer training + 1 day with preceptor Local Rule: 50-mile radius; unexpired driver’s license required Compliance: Any licensing/background hits must be disclosed at submission Interested?
