Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit position requiring a KS or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Details

• Work on a 2E Medical/Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
• May be required to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Radius rule applies which allows local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility location
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• Only one submission allowed per candidate across Ascension positions system wide
