Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical Combination unit in a Level II trauma acute care hospital
• 44-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:6
• Serves patients of all ages
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required, totaling 24 weekend hours
• As-needed call requirements with 30 minute to 1 hour arrival time if called in
• As-needed floating required
• Uses Meditech EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Meditech EHR experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Professional attire required; scrubs of any color accepted, but casual wear and hoodies are not permitted
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
