Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift acute care position requiring EPIC EMR experience and an active RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Acute unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36-hour work week only

Requirements

• Active RN license (or OR RN license) required for the state of practice
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS accepted)
• EPIC EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collects patient data, develops care plans, implements interventions, and evaluates outcomes
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe, compassionate care
• Participates in discharge planning and patient/family education
• Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
• Holiday RTO requests will not be approved
