Med-Surg Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure eligible for practice in Oklahoma
• At least 6 months of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in an on-site hospital setting
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and patient-care planning skills
• Effective communication and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing diagnoses and comprehensive care plans
• Deliver and evaluate total nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and communicate concerns promptly
• Administer care in accordance with professional nursing standards, clinical protocols, and patient-care plans
• Work cooperatively with ancillary departments, nursing colleagues, and other members of the patient-care team
• Promote continuity, safety, and quality throughout the patient-care experience
