Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Current CPR certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience preferred
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Experience in med/surg, acute care, or adult inpatient nursing preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound independent decisions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process
- Provide education to patients and families from admission through discharge
- Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately
- Implement physician orders and communicate any significant changes in patient condition
- Document patient care thoroughly, clearly, and in a timely manner
- Maintain readiness of equipment and supplies, reporting concerns as needed
- Support a collaborative team environment and assist in directing patient care activities as appropriate
- Promote safety, quality, and compassionate care for every patient
