Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• CPR certification required
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred in a med-surg or acute care setting
• Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond to changing patient needs in a hospital nursing environment
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a night-shift, team-oriented clinical support environment
• Ability to safely perform heavy-work duties, including frequent patient handling

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the care continuum
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with hospital standards
• Carry out physician orders and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately in the medical record
• Maintain readiness of equipment and supplies and report any malfunctions
• Support patient safety, teamwork, and a positive care environment
• Supervise and direct support staff in a professional and collaborative manner
