Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
• Comfortable working night shift nursing assignments in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Ability to float to appropriate units when needed
• Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to evolving care needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document care accurately using the unit's electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Support patient mobility, comfort, and discharge readiness throughout the hospital stay
• Maintain flexibility to float within appropriate areas based on unit needs
