Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Med/Surg or telemetry experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong cardiac and telemetry knowledge with EKG rhythm identification skills
• Experience with cardiac medications and drips preferred
• Proficiency with Meditech preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend scheduling as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to cardiac Med/Surg patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret EKG rhythms accurately
• Administer and manage cardiac medications and drips as ordered
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the healthcare team to support excellent patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support a positive, patient-centered unit culture
