Location: Wilson, NC — about 45 miles east of Raleigh
Unit Details
- Department: 3rd & 5th Floor Med Surg
- Unit Beds: 22 beds per unit
- Patient Ratio: 6:1 up to 7:1
- Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
- EHR: MEDITECH
- Equipment: Telemetry
- Float: Yes — as 2nd nurse, Tele, and ED
- Orientation: Bi-weekly
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Requirements
- RN License: Active
- Experience: 2+ years
- Specialty: Med Surg
- Required Certifications: BLS, NIH
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- MEDITECH: Required experience; preferred skill
- Med Surg experience: Required
- Must be comfortable with telemetry and floating as needed
Additional Information
- Travel Requirement: Candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate.

- Primary diagnoses/services: Surgical patients, PD exchanges, placement, psychiatric patients
